V.i. Labs Appoints New Sales and Finance Leadership to Executive Team
Industry Veterans Tim Bridge and Kevin Ball to Help Company Achieve Continued
Growth, Customer Service and Profitability
Waltham, Mass — June 3, 2008 - V.i. Laboratories, Inc. (“V.i. Labs”), a provider
of software protection solutions for securing high-value and mission-critical applications,
announced that Tim Bridge has joined the company as vice president of sales, while
Kevin Ball will lead the company’s efforts as vice president of finance. Both Bridge
and Ball will report to V.i. Labs’ President and CEO, Joe Noonan.
“Tim brings us more than 20 years of sales and executive management experience in
developing new markets and building sales teams,” Noonan said. “He is the right
person to assume responsibility for building and managing our sales team. Tim will
play a key role in developing client relationships and trusted partnerships to grow
our profitability, revenue and client satisfaction.”
Prior to joining V.i. Labs, Bridge was Senior Vice President of Sales at Black Duck
Software, the leader in software license compliance management solutions. He has
extensive early stage company experience working with ISVs and enterprise customers
and in four years at Black Duck he led the growth of the company from 0 to more
than 600 customers and achieved greater than 100% annual revenue growth. He was
also Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Reasoning, Inc., based in Mountain View,
Calif. and spent seven years at San Jose-based Mainsoft Corporation as Vice President
of Worldwide Sales. Bridge also served in senior sales positions with Tricord Systems
and Prime Computer/ComputerVision.
Kevin Ball, who also joins V.i Labs as vice president of finance, brings 17 years
of executive-level finance and operations experience. Prior to joining V.i. Labs,
Ball was VP of Finance and CFO for Nation One Mortgage, a $400 million wholesale
mortgage lender. He was also CFO for Skyward Consulting Group, a provider of sales
consulting, training and outsourcing solutions, and held executive-level positions
for the U.S. subsidiary of Getronics NV, a provider of software solutions and managed
services located in the Netherlands, and Logica plc, a London-based software consultancy
and systems integration company.
“Kevin will be responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of our
company's operations,” Noonan said. “He brings us added strength through a demonstrated
track record in achieving sustained growth and profitability.”
